Nature-based forest kindergarten afternoon classes for children ages 2.5 to 6, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wee Folk Forest in East Boulder. Each 5-week session follows its own seasonal curriculum theme (bugs, creatures that fly, beauty in nature, hand tools, habitats, Colorado plant life, etc.). Relationship-focused ratio of 5 children to 1 teacher.

Minimum enrollment of 2 afternoon classes per week. 1-class-per-week option available for families with financial hardship or scheduling challenges. Enrollment fee $200 per child plus $150 work day commitment fee. School year runs August 17, 2026 through May 21, 2027. Must be potty trained.
About Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten
Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten is a "rain or shine" outdoor preschool/kindergarten with multiple locations in the greater Boulder/Denver area for children ages 2 1/2 to 6, and children 0 to 2 1/2 in our Parent/Tot program. We are inspired by the Waldkindergartens and Forest Schools of Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Finland, where children spend the early years of their education in entirely outdoor settings.
